Hummus Dip
 

 

   
Back Many of you have asked about Hummus.
What is it and what might you use it for?
This food has a large amount of soluble fiber in it and therefor is very helpful in maintaining normal cholesterol. It can be stored in the refrigerator for a great snack. It is good on Pita bread or crackers.

1/3 Sesame tahini (sesame seed butter)
¼ cup lemon Juice
5 cloves garlic (minced)
5 drops Tabasco
¼ cup water
½ tsp. cumin
2 15oz cans garbanzo beans (chickpeas) drained

Its easy – combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth. An electric mixer works well too. Store in the refrigerator
